Terence O’Toole

Founder and Chairman

The company was founded and is backed by Macanta Investments LLC, the investment vehicle for Terence M. O’Toole and his family. Terry is a long-time media investor, first as one of the founders of the private equity business at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and later for his own account.  In addition to Golden Peak, other current Macanta media investments include Axios, VidMob and RedShelf. Before becoming an investor, Terry was a journalist, including stints as a collegiate journalist, a stringer for the Associated Press, a sportswriter in his hometown of Newark, Delaware, a magazine editor, and a copy editor at the Wall Street Journal.

Jeffrey Litvack

Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Litvack is a native digital executive who is leveraging his 25 years of operational, strategic and financial expertise to drive growth across the Golden Peak Media portfolio.  Prior to joining Golden Peak Media, Jeff led digital transformations at iconic publishing brands including Adweek, Robb Report, ALM and the Associated Press. Most recently, Jeff served as a board member and CEO of Adweek overseeing five years of consistent annual double-digit growth. Jeff is a highly regarded executive credited with winning more than 30 coveted honors and awards for product breakthroughs and industry leadership from The Webbys, Apple, IAB, and others.  Prior to his executive roles, Jeff was a strategic management consultant at Mitchell Madison Group and Mars & Co. Jeff has an undergraduate degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Harvard Law School.

Farrell McManus

Chief Sales Officer

Farrell McManus is an experienced sales and marketing executive working across the media, technology, and professional services sectors. For over twenty years he has crafted strategies, built teams, launched brands, developed programs, grown revenue, and contributed to significant growth across multiple industries. Having been on both sides of the media buying conversation, he knows the importance of listening to customers and finding approaches that synchronizes with their business strategies and enables them to achieve their goals. Farrell was at ALM Media for where he led sales for the regional brands. Prior to ALM, Farrell spent eight years at Incisive Media, managing editorial, sales and marketing teams in New York, London, and Hong Kong. Farrell received a B.A. from Fairfield University and is a graduate of New York Law School.

Kate Butler

Chief Content Officer

Kate Butler is a media strategist with a rare combination of experience in both consumer editorial and business development. An experienced business journalist, she understands the power of community and audience engagement. Before joining Golden Peak, Butler was Head of Editorial Product & Engagement at Adweek in New York City. She also served in a variety of roles at The Associated Press, leading projects and teams in editorial, product development, sales and account management, most recently as VP Customer Engagement.

Kim Greenlee

Chief Marketing Officer

As the Chief Marketing Officer at Golden Peak Media, Kim Greenlee is responsible for creating and accelerating the company’s marketing strategy and driving brand recognition for its beloved brands. She returns to Golden Peak Media after building a successful marketing consulting business, helping clients in the media, medical technology, and beverage industries grow their brands through digital strategy. Previous to her work as a consultant, Kim was F&W Media’s Sr. Director of Marketing & Operations and helped build the toy brands BeginAgain and Sprig Toys from start-up to successful acquisition. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Dartmouth College.
